When the world stopped raving, these gabber legends faced the ultimate drop.
Since 2013, the Casual Gabberz collective has been storming dancefloors and the stages of the biggest festivals with its gabber surge, that hardcore techno sound born in Holland in the 90s. Until a virus causes the planet to go haywire. And triggered an existential crisis within the collective.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Gabber emerged from Rotterdam's working-class suburbs as a white working-class response to hip-hop, complete with its own fashion (Australian tracksuits, shaved heads) that Casual Gabberz deliberately subverted by embracing diversity.
The 'Casual' in their name is ironic — they're anything but. The collective formed after meeting at Paris's notorious Concrete club, which itself closed permanently during the pandemic.
