Alicia Crosby is a hugely successful children's fashion designer based in Los Angeles. Her personal life is equally successful as Alicia suspects her boyfriend Will Randall is going to pop the question any day now. Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Marion Ross played Mrs. Cunningham on Happy Days — casting her as a secretly cutthroat grandma is delicious subversion of her wholesome image.
This is peak Hallmark Channel original formula: successful city woman, rural family test, competitive event as metaphor for relationship hurdles. The 'Reunion Races' trope appears in at least a dozen similar films from this era.
