The Valley of Smiles

Physical education teacher Sergio Rossetti is transferred to Remis, a small mountain village wherein an unbreakable serenity reigns, and discovers that behind that golden equilibrium lies a disturbing ritual. One night a week, the locals are freed of their pain thanks to 15-year-old introvert Matteo: just hugging him is enough to feel better. In an attempt to save Matteo from the madness of his community, Sergio will unleash the dark side of what everyone calls the Angel of Remis.
