i have never seen a trailer so far removed from the vibe of the actual movie. it's as if they cut a different film. in any case, the ACTUAL film is much more slow-paced, calm, ASMR-like, nature is a huge element and it's romantic and soft. ONE OF THE GREATEST FILMS EVER MADE.

Terrence Malick doesn't just make narrative films, his films are visual experiences. I get the feeling he lets the camera roll in the landscape and the narrative just happens. This film is no exception.

This movie is fantastic. The attention to historic detail, weapons and armour, clothes, scenery, the native americans - its all beautifully done! I strongly recommend this film.
