Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The four directors met at Columbia College Chicago and made Redwood as their thesis-adjacent passion project, shooting entirely in an actual abandoned school over one feverish weekend.
Redwood arrives at peak 'analog horror' saturation—think Local 58, The Backrooms—yet its multi-director structure accidentally mirrors the very found-footage anthology films (V/H/S, etc.) it clearly worships.
