A large construction company is trying to take over the territory of an orphanage in order to build an amusement park there. The director of the orphanage, with the support of his wards, is fighting for its preservation. The head of the construction company Borisov wants to achieve his goal by any means and hires a professional to solve controversial and slippery issues Polunin, as well as a careerist Chizhikov, who hires bandits. However, the bandits only aggravate the situation, creating more and more problems for Borisov. At the same time, Polunina, who tricked into getting a job as a physical education teacher in an orphanage, begins her subversive work.
