Malunguinho (2013)

Overview

Malunguinho was the leader of the Catucá quilombo, in the 19th century. Despite being killed in 1835, he is worshiped to this day by followers of Jurema Sagrada, an indigenous-based religion with African influences of Northeast Brazil.
