Priyoranjan and Ratnakar are close friends, almost like brothers, until Priyo marries Chirosree against their parents' wishes. Priyo's life spirals as he lands in jail, while Chirosree, with Ratnakar's support, starts a successful cosmetics business. After being released, Priyo reunites with his wife and son, and with Ratnakar's help, the family is brought back together, ending the film on a happy note.
