Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Stiles shot the entire film in his actual apartment, using his own curtains as the dimensional barrier—no set dressing budget, pure nightmare economics.
The 're-casting' concept deliberately echoes 1950s Red Scare paranoia and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but swaps political anxiety for parasocial friendship.
