Five friends, one fatal dinner, and a journalist who'd rather play detective than file a story.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Fabrizio Laurenti also directed several Italian TV movies in the 90s, making this part of a forgotten wave of small-screen giallo homages.
The title references 'cronaca nera' — Italy's sensationalist crime journalism tradition — suggesting Olimpo's transformation is partly satirical.
