View Point (1996)

steamysuspenseful90s noir

Overview

Vivid presents an apartment complex with three stories. Chasey's "Angel", a new tenant who catches the eye of Vince. Kristy and Bobby just moved in, and Julie over in 3B can't get her husband away from the TV. This is the world of "View Point", where everyone's watching someone, and no one knows quite who. In other words, if the blinds are open a peek, you can bet someone's peeking.

Standout Aspects

Production

That apartment complex set = claustrophobic genius on a budget.

Cinematography

Every window frame is a guilty little movie screen.

Acting

Chasey Lain actually sells 'Angel' as more than a name.

Best for:Solo: Late night, blinds down, volume low. Obviously.·Date Night: Only if you're both very secure. Very.·Background: The 82-minute runtime respects your... attention span.
Heads up:Sexual Content: It's a Vivid film. The blinds aren't the only things open.·Disturbing: Consent lines get blurry — by design, not accident.

Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Cultural

View Point dropped right as '90s erotic thrillers peaked post-Basic Instinct — Vivid was chasing that mainstream crossover energy hard.

Trivia

The apartment complex was allegedly a repurposed soap opera set, which explains why every room looks like someone's about to have a dramatic confrontation.
