What at first glance may be perceived as endearing (Good Boy) turns out to be the result of a series of excessive and degrading punishments to which these animals are subjected, completely at the mercy of their owner (Bad Boy). This semblance of harmony can be perceived—from the pet's perspective—as the result of a systemic incompatibility.
