Our Colors Never Fade

When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, ordinary citizens chose to stay and defend their homeland. Among them are members of the LGBTQIA+ community, who not only faced the dangers of war but also the weight of prejudice and targeted persecution. Our Colors Never Fade offers an intimate portrait of these soldiers and civilians through personal reflections and frontline experiences. Their stories reveal courage, sacrifice, and humanity in the midst of conflict, challenging stereotypes while illuminating a community fighting for both national freedom and the right to exist.
