Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The 'Apache' subculture was a media fascination in Belle Époque Paris—criminal gangs romanticized as violent street dancers, and this film cashed in on the trend.
Dorothy Dalton was Universal's prestige star at the time; this was one of her last major silents before she walked away from Hollywood entirely at age 32.
