Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) is one of the most popular impressionist painters, famous for much-loved paintings such as “The Luncheon of the Boating Party”. But critics have sometimes been less impressed by an artist who could be considered superficial. This documentary sheds light on Renoir’s paintings.
