Conversio

Conversio: Turning inward, into the depths of our being, to find God. Alice and Charles have known each other since childhood and once made a promise they believed unbreakable: “Always and forever” But after a tragic event, Charles withdraws into a silent suffering that he can no longer express except through violence. After repeated and unsuccessful attempts to help him, Alice is confronted with a painful choice: should she honor her promise, or listen to her reason? This short film sheds light on the dilemma faced by victims of domestic violence, when giving up on saving the other becomes the only way to save oneself.
