Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Recha shot this during an actual freezing winter in Valencia, and the actors' visible breath was unplanned.

Cultural

This emerged from Spain's 'other' cinema—regional, slow, fiercely anti-commercial in the shadow of Almodóvar's success.
