The Scare

Terry is a normal kid having a normal childhood, with two small exceptions: Her father is an American spy living in West Berlin at the height of the Cold War, and she is going Deaf in both ears. Every day she goes to school, does her homework, plays with dolls, and every night her family plays a game of “Scare,” which, unbeknownst to her, is preparation for an impending Russian invasion.
