Laurene Landon broke her finger and foot during filming but kept shooting. The director was her then-husband Matt Cimber, fresh off the Pia Zadora drama 'Butterfly.'
This was part of a brief 80s wave of 'female Indiana Jones' knockoffs that also spawned 'Fire and Ice' and 'Sheena'—most died at the box office, but cable kept them alive.
