Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Director Red Ezra shot most of this guerrilla-style across actual LA freeways with minimal permits. The car interiors were filmed in a rented garage in Van Nuys.
This came out the same year as 'Drive My Car' and 'Collateral'—2005 was apparently the year cinema decided urban nocturnal car journeys were the ultimate metaphor for isolation.
