Galaxy of the Dinosaurs was originally shot in 1992 but languished until BMP gave it this mock-trial release in 2003. The 'police' are all regulars in J.R. Bookwalter's Ohio indie film scene.
This pioneered the 'riffing with legal consequences' format years before MST3K's Netflix revival—DIY Ohio filmmakers were doing ironic rehabilitation before it was algorithmic.
