Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Paul Naschy wrote this under his real name Jacinto Molina, part of his obsessive Ripper trilogy alongside 'Jack the Ripper of London' and 'The Mummy's Revenge'.
José Luis Madrid shot this during Franco's declining years, when Spanish horror used foreign settings to smuggle transgression past censors who barely cared anymore.
