Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Ray Danton was a minor American star who fled to Europe after his TV series 'The Alaskans' failed, becoming a staple of the Eurospy boom that capitalized on Bond mania with 1/100th the budget.
Director Maurice Labro shot this back-to-back with 'The Reluctant Spy' using the same Spanish locations and crew, explaining why Jeff Larson's 'secret' base looks suspiciously familiar to anyone who's seen both films.
