Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Shot during actual Vermont winters with temperatures hitting -20°F; the cast's visible breath is very real. Director Thor literally couldn't call 'cut' some days because batteries froze.
The title references the Greek goddess of innocence and purity — ironic given Astraea's forced maturation, but also literal: she's the last innocent trying to restore justice to a dead world.
