Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Bob Steele made over 100 westerns in his career, often playing characters with multiple aliases—apparently one identity was never enough.

Insight

This is pure pre-Code B-movie energy: 60-ish minutes, no moral hand-wringing, and Gabby Hayes before he became everyone's grandpa.
