The Manaki brothers were itinerant photographers who bought a Bioscope camera in London; this might be the only surviving footage of King Alexander of Greece, who was assassinated in 1920.
This 'festive' reception happened during WWI's final months — the same month Bulgaria surrendered — making this less celebration and more strategic photo op for shaky alliances.
