A fantastic adventure of a brother and sister flying a ghost ship, guided by a red crow, in search for an old captain. The ghost ship was designed by Hayao Miyazaki and the red crow was done by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
Practical Effects
The ghost ship is a glorious Miyazaki fever dream made foam and wire.
Production
Henson + Miyazaki + Konaka = unholy alliance we deserved more of.

Director
Kazuya Konaka
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Hayao Miyazaki reportedly sketched the ghost ship between Nausicaä and Castle in the Sky production, making this a rare glimpse of his 'in-between' aesthetic.
This remains one of only two live-action projects featuring Jim Henson's Creature Shop work in Japan, the other being a little film called The Dark Crystal—so yeah, they brought their A-team.
