Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Chrystale Wilson was already a cult figure from 'The Players Club' (1998), making her casting here a deliberate nod to that era's Black erotic thriller boom.
This film arrived as the 'urban' direct-to-DVD market collapsed, one of countless titles trying to replicate 'Hustle & Flow' success with exponentially fewer resources and exponentially more exploitation.
