Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Trimurti flopped on release but gained cult status for its unusually bleak portrait of urban poverty, rare in 1970s commercial cinema.

Cultural

The title's ironic Hindu trinity reference — three sons who destroy rather than preserve — was considered subversive by contemporary critics.
