I served in the Army during this time, 69-70, and it is highly realistic, as I remember things at that time.

A very underrated film. I did not serve in Vietnam, I served in Iraq as an infantryman. The reality of this film is you cannot see whats happening. Thats combat, its POP POP POP BOOOOOOM! Smoke, terrible things happened and you must handle it. Love this movie, extremely realistic and very well made.
