Standout Aspects

Acting

François Morel's game show host—smarmy, desperate, weirdly touching.

Writing

Rimbaud quotes meets reality TV satire. Unhinged in the best way.

Best for:Solo: Late night, slightly tipsy, wondering what obscure French cinema is hiding.·Streaming: When you've exhausted every Netflix original and need something weird.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Director Milka Assaf made exactly two films and vanished—this is her only feature available outside festival circuits.

Cultural

The film satirizes France's 90s obsession with trash TV ('Les Années Folles' era) while romanticizing the very poets consumer culture devours.
