Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
EROPING is a pseudonym for a director who primarily worked in South Korea's softcore industry; this was an attempt at 'prestige' genre blending.
The film explicitly references real tensions around undocumented Japanese workers in Korea's service industry, then undercuts itself with romantic framing.
