Jett's label Blackheart Records, co-founded with Laguna in 1980, made her one of the first female artists to own her masters.
The title 'Real Wild Child' references her cover of Iggy Pop's song, which itself was a cover—perfect meta-commentary on her career of reclaiming rock canon.
