Slumberland discussion

This movie left me speechless. As a war refugee I went through hundreds of traumatic events and my dreams kept me going. My dreams of a safe space, a family I could call my own, a wife I would love with every fiber in my body, children I would give my life for without even hesitating for so much as a second and the same goes for the wife I always dreamed about. Nightmares were there too, but this movie just made me realize I held on to my dreams for my life and I never let go. The dreams stopped the moment I met my wife, more than 11 years ago. She listened, she cared and now she's about to give us our first daughter. I was literally crying and laughing at the same time while watching this masterpiece. Just made me realize my dreams are coming true, I never gave in to the nightmares. Literally, you can do anything. Trust me, hold onto your dreams because they will make the trauma fade away.

That pearl she found in the end. Aren't we all secretly wishing we can find our pearl and wish to see our loved ones and hear their voice again if only for one last time..

The kid looks a lot like a little saoirse ronan. Also, the story of this "slumberland" film and the cast was so good and the visuals kinda reminds me of "the lovely bones" which was played by saoirse. Both films has also the same theme of trying to reconnect with your loved ones.
