Charlton Heston was so committed he learned to use a shepherd's crook like a boss, then forgot and accidentally used it to knock over props constantly.
This was DeMille's second crack at Moses—he made a silent version in 1923 and basically spent 33 years planning his glow-up. The man had NOTES.
