Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The Committee was a San Francisco improv troupe that trained half of SNL's first generation and pioneered long-form improv; this film is essentially their only surviving feature-length document.
Carl Gottlieb went on to co-write Jaws; Barbara Bosson became Hill Street Blues' Fay Furillo; Peter Bonerz directed 29 episodes of Friends. This was their weird, beautiful beginning.
