Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The entire film was conceived, shot, and released within 12 weeks of UK lockdown beginning. Savage and crew sent rigged laptops to actors' homes and directed via Zoom.
This pioneered 'pandemic horror' as its own subgenre — filmed entirely through screens months before Hollywood attempted similar. The Zoom séance format has since been widely imitated.
