This was the first Flintstones project since the original 1960s series to feature Jean Vander Pyl as Wilma—she'd voiced the character for over 30 years.
The 1993 TV movie aired during a brief animation nostalgia boom before The Flintstones live-action film overshadowed it completely. Megan Mullally reportedly took the role before Will & Grace made her famous.
