Fly is the story of a bird that has a deformed wing that prevents it from migrating. Abandoned by his flock, he sinks in despair. Everything changes the day Pio-Pio appears. This defenseless chick gives him joy and a sense of purpose in life. Until one day destiny makes him do things that he would't even do for himself, such as flying.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The 'deformed wing as disability metaphor' is handled with rare nuance — Fly's arc isn't about 'fixing' himself but finding worth beyond productivity.
Director Carlos Gómez-Mira spent three years on this 15-minute film, originally conceived as a proof-of-concept for a feature that still hasn't materialized.
