This short exists because fans spent years begging DC to acknowledge Ted Kord after the Jaime Reyes reboot dominated the Blue Beetle name.
The Charlton heroes here—Blue Beetle, Captain Atom, The Question, Nightshade—were the direct inspiration for Watchmen characters. DC owning them is why we got this instead of Rorschach: The Animated Series.
