5 minutes of gay history, piss, and pixels — Ken Anderlini didn't come to play, he came to spray.
Mixing cyberporn and “basement porn” footage together, Hose juxtaposes the revolutionary promises of sexuality of the '70s with the cybersex reality of the '90s. This rich visual examination of queer sexuality would not be complete without its sly piss-take (literally) about the fun of watersports.
Editing
Visceral 70s/90s footage collision — no transition is innocent.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Made during the dot-com boom when 'cybersex' was sold as liberation, Anderlini saw the digital utopia coming and immediately mistrusted it.
The 'basement porn' refers to actual 16mm stag films from queer archives — Anderlini physically spliced found footage with his own digital footage, making the medium itself a comment on erotic memory.
