A U.S. Army Captain uses her years of tactical training to save humanity from sixteen nuclear missiles launched at the U.S. as a violent attack threatens her remote missile interceptor station.
Stunts
Pataky did most fights herself—impressive, given the choreography.
Practical Effects
The interceptor set feels claustrophobically real.

Director
Matthew Reilly
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Director Matthew Reilly is a bestselling Australian novelist; this was his directorial debut. He literally wrote the book on over-the-top action.
The film was shot in Sydney during COVID lockdowns, with Pataky (Chris Hemsworth's wife) getting the role partly through their production company. Nepotism? Maybe. But she carries it.

I an so happy that she looks like she can fight. It's annoying when an actor as skinny as a model is supposed to convince me they are flipping 300 pound men in a battle. Like this looks believable. Thank you!

Even Chris Hemsworth’s wife is a bad ass. First he’s in Extraction and now she’s in Interceptor. I gotta watch this, she’s gonna be awesome
