John Kim, a struggling Korean-American immigrant mechanic, reaches out to a young boy and his mom caught in the middle of an exploding violence in the same apartment complex. When John finally confronts the husband, he uncovers something far more insidious below the surface and must choose to come to terms with his own dark past.
