Andrew Pollack received a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature along with a certificate in Film Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While at school, Andrew received two consecutive Michael S. Roif awards. One, for his adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Tell Tale Heart and the other, for his own story, The Henry Holmes Motel.
