Evandro Manchini

Evandro Manchini is a Brazilian filmmaker and actor constantly involved in multidisciplinary projects including: video, performance and theater. He is currently a Master's Degree student at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with a video installation project which attempts to investigate the boundaries between reality and fiction by addressing the artist's personal experience with HIV. Among his most important achievements as an artist are the video installation “Reforma” (Renovation), the VR Experience "HIVR", the webseries “O Diferente da Coisa” (The Different Thing), the shorts Sebastião (Curta Rio Prize 2015), "Juntos" (Together) and “Maquiagem” (Makeup) – Best original short at Très Court Festival 2015.
