Muhammed Yaseen

Muhammed Yaseen V is an Indian short film director and screenwriter who works primarily in the Malayalam film industry. He was born in Kozhikode, Kerala, India, and developed an early interest in cinema and visual storytelling. Before focusing on directing, he appeared as a junior artist in Malayalam films including Halal Love Story and Muhabathin Kunjabdulla. Yaseen began his filmmaking career with the short film Nyra (2023), marking his directorial debut. He later directed and wrote the short film Dear Lost (June 11, 2025). He continues to develop independent projects under his production banner Binterplot. His upcoming short film, Nyra II, is currently in development.
