Andrew Snyder grew up in northwest Iowa and is currently living in Iowa City. After graduating from high school, he attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles with dreams of becoming an actor. After directing a short film while there, he realized his dream was to be behind the camera, not in front of it. He then attended the University of Iowa, earning dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Cinema and Screenwriting, graduating with Honors in Cinema.
