Sofya Akan

Sofya Akan (b. 2004, Istanbul) is a filmmaker and visual artist working across short film, video art, and photography. Based in France and studying Anthropology in Montpellier, Akan weaves academic research into a cinematic practice grounded in emotion, identity, memory, and the textures of everyday life.
