Patrick Nicholls
Directing
Born and raised in Moston, Manchester, Patrick moved down to London in July 2015 to pursue more film opportunities. In 2014, he wrote, directed and produced three short films on black & white 16mm film in New York City.
Whilst having previously worked at Metrodome, Feel Films and for a BFI short film (Middle Passage, premiering at a private screening at the BFI London Film Festival), his first directorial effort since moving to around London came in the form of psychological thriller short Still Dark, which he also wrote and produced.
After wrapping on his short existential dark comedy Teaching A Whore About Romance, he made his first short film in his hometown of Manchester: The Spirit of ‘58.
