Medea Tchelidze is a Georgian filmmaker who majored in International Relations with a concentration on East Asia, focusing on South Korea. Having achieved a high proficiency in the Korean language and studied its history extensively, Medea has always been fascinated by Korean culture. Despite initially pursuing a career in international relations, the desire to become a filmmaker led her to enroll in the Georgian-American Film Academy.
